Ryan and Lindsay - Wedding

Ryan and Lindsay were married May 15th at Woodington Lake Golf Course. I've said it before but I just love it there. The staff is incredible and it's one of the best ceremony locations in the area.

Ryan and Lindsay have been together over 10 years so for many people this wedding was a long time coming. Because of this, the support and joy for this marriage was overflowing. It was really neat to see a group of people already so familiar with one another. Of course it was a room full of Lindsay and Ryan's closest friends, but it seemed like it was the same for everyone there.

The day was very moving. A lot of laughs and a lot of tears. It was obvious to Darryl and I that these two were just as in love with one another as they ever were. It was a great day!

Darren & Jennifer

Darren & Jennifer were married April 17th at the Gibson Centre in Alliston. When we showed up at Jennifer's parents place in the morning I couldn't believe how quiet and relaxed it was. Jennifer was stunning and calm. It was quite a change from the norm... we almost didn't know what to do with ourselves. Once we hit Darren and Jennifer's place where the guys were getting ready it started to feel like a wedding. People everywhere!

The wedding ceremony was lovely. Very relaxed and comfortable. Both Darren and Jennifer come from extremely loving families. Both sets of parents are celebrating 30 years of marriage this year and they both look like newly weds. A perfect example for their beautiful children.

Speaking of children... Darren's sister-in-law went into labour while we were shooting the family portraits. She was already at the hospital but needless to say Darren's brother had to jet out early for the birth of their baby. Congratulations!!!

MATT & COLLEEN

Matt & Colleen were married on one of the hottest days of summer. They, and their fabulous wedding party were all amazing sport's throughout the picture process. Matt and Colleen are a very sweet couple and were wonderful to work with.

The ceremony was at St. Mary's Church in Barrie with the reception following at the newly renovated Barrie Country Club. What a great venue!! My assistant Brittney and I had a great time shooting. The children were a total blast... I could have photographed them all day, and they wouldn't have minded.

The party went strong for the entire night. The speeches were extremely moving... I almost forgot to keep shooting :)

A special thanks to Brittney McLean for helping me out that day... the groomsmen shot is hers at the bottom. You did a great job!!

GREG & DANIELLE

Greg and Danielle were married at Woodington Lake Golf Course in Tottenham. This was my first time shooting at Woodington Lake, and I have to say, I was very impressed with everything about the place. The landscape was stunning, the banquet room was perfect for weddings, and the service was awesome! The staff was right there every step of the way ready to accomodate.

The decor was provided by my favorite floral designer, Darlene at Season's in Tottenham. Funky Black and Pink accented the room and the girls looked georgeous! The guys weren't too shabby either :)

The kids were great subjects. Gregs brother was the ring bearer and he absolutely loved the camera. He worked it all day.

The weather held up most of the day. The rain came as we were finishing up the portraits and added a refreshing feel to the day.

I had a great time with this group. Everyone was awesome. I hope the party was a blast!!!
