I'm playing a little catch up here with my wedding blog... it's been a busy few weeks!! Simon and Monica were married on May 30th. The ceremony was beautiful. Monica is a highschool music teacher and she had her students play throughout the ceremony. They were wonderful! It was extremely moving, especially their rendition of the Wedding Song... I choked up. After the ceremony we headed to Sunnidale park to do family photos. It was a beautiful day with the odd glimpse of rain. The wedding party was a lot of fun, however, I think we'd all agree that Sunnidale park needs to put in some public washrooms :) The reception was held at the Southshore Centre in Barrie. A bright, beautiful venue over looking Kempenfelt Bay. The decor was georgeous! Simon and Monica are quite young at heart. They had a fantastic candy table set up in the corner with the feel of an old school candy shop, complete with popshop pop. Their Nintendo Wii was set up in another corner for guests to play during dinner in order to make the couple kiss.
The day was perfect!! Here is a sampling from the day.
